1) Corporate Sales Manager, Carrington Communities, Full time, Edmonton, AB

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong ability for sales strategy, leadership, creative direction, and building positive relationships. The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for division sales staffing, sales training, administration, implements sales procedures and helps establish guidelines for sales staff.

Corporate Sales Manager Responsibilities:
– Helps to implement sales goals and sales training programs as needed to meet Division goals.
– Responsible for controlling incentive costs to preserve margins.
– Assists and guides sales team with sales techniques to achieve maximum sales and satisfied homeowners.
– Responsible to ensure that all sales staff coordinates regularly with other field and office associates to ensure timely closings and satisfied homeowners.
– Reviews and monitors sales team’s paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with all Carrington Communities guidelines and regulations.
– Coordinates as needed with other department associates regarding construction schedules, show home maintenance, customer care and homeowner scheduling of events.
– Assists with input regarding advertising, and promotional needs.
– Monitors market trends and competition.
– Assists in all point-of-sale disclosures, legal documentation and contractual paperwork.
– Assist in planning and coordinating special sales functions. Attend special promotional events for Communities.
– Assists in hiring and administers an adequate sales force to meet Division goals.
– Supervise and monitor all sales staff job performance.
– Lead and/or participate in all sales meetings.
– Assists in preparation of show home budgets and coordinates timely opening of show suites.
– Assists in the evolution of home plans for new product development.
– Assists in the development of standard features and amenities of new product development.

Corporate Sales Manager Qualifications:
– 5+ years in a Sales Management/Leadership Role.
– Residential sales experience, sales management and/or real estate or management related industries.
– Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
– Must be able to deal effectively with confrontational situations and maintain objectivity in associate, public relations, and homeowners. Possess and exercise mature judgement.
– Strong work ethic; loyal; trustworthy; and being a Team Player is a must.
– Advanced computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office.
– Requires resourcefulness, patience and clarity.
– Strong Management and motivational skills.
– Diplomacy and good public presence.
– Valid Driver’s License (non GDL) and clean drivers abstract.

2) Graphic Designer, Carrington Communities, Full time, Edmonton, AB

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the concept development and execution of fresh and consistent design that is on brand across all marketing mediums and materials. Work collaboratively with team members and departments to deliver professional quality design that effectively and accurately communicates defined objectives and business goals.

Graphic Designer Qualifications/Experience:
– Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
– Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a graphic designer.
– Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign) in a PC environment.
– Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.
– Ability to problem solve and work creatively with limited resources.
– Experience meeting deadlines with tight timelines and performing in multi-tasking environment
– Team-oriented with positive attitude
– Excellent verbal and written skills
– Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail
– Ability and willingness to work the odd evening or weekend for showsuite openings and events

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
– Creating and executing design concepts with a clean and sophisticated aesthetic while maintaining brand style guidelines
– Produce marketing assets including webpages, videos, digital and print ads, sales collateral, brochures, and signage, etc.
– Collaborate with a team to create effective and visually email marketing templates
– Creating brand identities for new developments, including logos, colours, sales collateral such as letterheads, plans, feature sheets, and amenity sheets
– Meeting all advertising and publication deadlines and adhering to an on-going weekly and monthly advertising schedule
– Responsible to maintain website updates in multiple content management platforms including WordPress, Webguide, WIX, and others
– Creation of website photo galleries and web photo elements
– Providing graphics for events, new product lines and corporate programs
– Collaborating within a team to deliver attractive, informative, accurate indoor and outdoor marketing material for Presentation Centres
– Maintain quality control in regards to file preparation and storage, ensuring all materials are press-ready and/or web-ready digital files
– Website design experience an asset
– Photography and video experience an asset
– Collaborate and assist with campaign planning and execution for advertising and events
– Assisting with researching and selecting targeted, valuable advertising venues
– Assisting with housing award submissions throughout the year in Housing submissions

This full-time position is located in Edmonton, Alberta. Carrington Communities provides a competitive compensation and benefits package. Business Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
